The iceberg is melting. We let confetti snow. Yesterday’s snow becomes today’s sea of tears and we skate on our watered down memories. We drink tea together and wait…

We feel a longing for change, security, ideas for the future and sometimes also for stagnation. But how does that come together? How can we hold on to what is important to us and get rid of what bothers us? And how can we deal with what just happens without our doing? Katharina and Norman from pulk fiktion are contemporary witnesses of the disappearance and are now reporting on the change.

Between flokati carpet, kettle and fitness bike, pulk fiktion goes on an autobiographical journey to the places of longing of the past, the dreams that can still be experienced in the future and the possibilities of one’s own participation in today’s world. In dialogue with the audience, they celebrate the constant transformation.

A co-production of pulk fiktion with Freies Werkstatt Theater Köln, FFT Düsseldorf and Theater Mülheim an der Ruhr. Funded by the Cultural Office of the City of Cologne, the Ministry for Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the Art Foundation NRW and the Performing Arts Fund.

Co-financed by The Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation.
