Children’s Art Biennale for families
Mum, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie, Uncle, carers and guardians – bring your child to the Biennale!
The Children’s Art Biennale is a unique festival that invites children and adults to discover art together in its many different forms.
Held every two years at the turn of May and June, the festival offers participants eight days of artistic experiences and events, filling Poznań with creative energy.
During the Biennale, different fields of art meet and intertwine: theatre, dance, visual arts, music, literature and film. It is this coexistence that gives the event its unique character. We invite you to performances, concerts, interactive art installations, performative activities, and creative art and movement workshops. The programme is rich and designed so that every child can find something for themselves.
The Biennale is a place for building relationships – between children and adults, artists and audiences, partners and culture. We focus on attentiveness, accessibility and closeness, creating experiences that are open to different needs and ways of engaging. The festival is designed to develop children’s curiosity and sensitivity.
The Biennale programme is created with children aged 1 to 12 in mind, with a special focus on preschool children and pupils in the early years of primary school.
We create a space in which every child is a full participant in culture and can experience and interpret art in their own way.
The 26th edition of the Children’s Art Biennale will take place from 30 May to 6 June 2027 in Poznań.
