What can be found in the urban space? Do we pay attention to objects abandoned on the city streets as we walk them every day?

Imagine that we are archaeologists of the future who came to some city to discover how people used to live there. What is the difference between things made in the past and those produced today? Would we have anything good to say about our civilisation? Let’s go and explore together, reflecting on the objects left behind and the future ahead.

After the walk, we will try to give our findings a new life. Do seemingly uninteresting forms deserve a second chance? We will use these objects to create a series of hybrid sculptures – spatial installations put together with clay, dirt, and glue.

This archaeological walk grows as a result of the artist’s research interests and her many years of experience running workshops for children. Its creative atmosphere encourages critical reflection on the present and the future.
