Laboratory: how do we want to cooperate (in the future)? / programme
We invite you to participate in the program Laboratory: how do we want to cooperate (in the future)? an event addressed to people who work in the field of art for young audiences. It is a Polish-German program that is meant to be a space for exchange of experiences. It was created as the cooperation between the Children’s Art Center in Poznań and the Kinder- und Jugendtheaterzentrum in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland and taking place during the 24th Children’s Art Biennale.
PROGRAMME:

14.00-16.30 – workshops in groups
Group A: Deaf dramaturgy – how to make the theater interesting for deaf AND hearing people
lead: Pia Jendreizik i Wera Mahne (Leute wie die collective)
→ Pia Jendreizik and Wera Mahne are creators of the performance Ich bin Pinguin, which is part of the programme of 24th Children’s Art Biennale
Group B: Your ideal cultural event of the future? Discrimination-sensitive and power-critical events

→ short description: How do you attend cultural events? What are your needs? And what needs of your guests do you think about when you plan and organize events? In what spaces and atmospheres would you like to meet? Let’s take a look at this “Laboratorium” and the “Biennale” itself and discuss together what discrimination-sensitive organizing can mean in this context. What is important to you in cultural events of the future – and what tools and strategies could be helpful to get there?

Group A: A talk on rooms for writing for theatre: residencies, stipendia, writing in a group, as part of the rehearsal process / discussion
participation: Anah Filou (the author with experience of several writing residencies in Germany), Andrzej Błażewicz, Monika Czajkowska, Tomasz Daszczuk (participants of the writing program implemented as part of the 34th Competition for Theater Arts for Children and Youth), Monika Kowerko-Urbańczyk, Piotr Morawski (supervisors of creative processes carried out as part of the program), Agnieszka Waligóra (co-coordinator of the program)
facilitation: Iwona Nowacka
→ The play Ptasilot (Am Hafen mit Vogel) by Anah Filou in translation by Iwona Nowacka will be presented during 24th Children’s Art Biennale in direction by Gosia Dębska (in Polish).
Group B: How to collaborate in a group?
participation: Hanna Bylka-Kanecka (Holobiont collective), Arthur Romanowski (imaginary company collective)
facilitation: Nikola Schellmann
→ In the programme of 24th Children’s Art Biennale we present the performance “My tail and I” by Holobiont collective; Arthur Romanowski is a supervisor of the working group that is part of the programme of Laboratory.

ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION:
- Meetings are held in Polish, English, German and German Sign Language. All events will be translated into Polish.
- We offer the possibility of translation into Polish Sign Language (depending on the needs of the participants).
- The laboratory will take place on May 30th and 31st 2023. All interested adults without age limits can participate in it, it is necessary to complete the application form, and after qualifying for participation (within the limit of places) to pay the accreditation fee. The number of places and available accommodation is limited, the order of applications counts.
- Deadline for accepting applications: May 17, 2023.

- By May 22nd 2023 persons qualified to participate will receive e-mail information and data to make the transfer as the accreditation fee.
