It will be colourful and fabulous! We’ll be having fun to the sounds of the trombone, bass guitar, vibraphone, percussion broomstick, bass clarinet, harmonium, transverse flute, and dozens of other instruments! During the concert, the youngest audience members can chat, dance and run around, and even play some instruments after the band’s finished. Adults, on the other hand, can let their hair down and allow themselves to be carried away by the music. The excellent, often subversive lyrics will put a smile on both younger and older faces and set a great mood, bringing us all a little freedom from all sorts of obligations.

Jerz Igor is a duo writing and performing songs for children of all ages. The band’s founders, Jerzy Rogiewicz and Igor Nikiforow, are multi-instrumentalists known from many alternative ensembles. We don’t want to bore you, so we will only mention those starting with the letter P: Profesjonalizm, Paula i Karol, Pink Freud, and Polonezy.

Initially, the musicians were only supposed to record a lullaby album for Tadzik, the soon-to-be-born son of Jerzy, who could listen to his dad’s songs in his absence. At the time, they dreamt of “a children’s album that could be enjoyed by parents and their child-free friends alike.” On 1 June 2013, the first song called Królewicz (The Prince) was produced. After the premiere of the Mała płyta (Little Album) record in 2014, the studio project evolved into a frequently-touring, multi-member band of some of the best and nicest musicians from Poland and abroad. Together they perform both on festival stages and in smaller venues. So far, they have released three studio albums: Mała płyta (Little Album, 2014), Zimą (In the Winter, 2015) and Wyspa (The Island, 2020).
