What can you build a house from? When you’re a kid, you can do absolutely anything!

This is an activity during which we will build our future home together. How we do it?

We will use artificial materials (including adhesive tapes and transparent foils) and natural materials such as clay to build a common house. This will allow us to have a great fun together, and each of us will be able to discover how different textures can be and how differently they can be experienced. In this way, we will co-create our own place, a delicate space full of light and sticky building materials. Thanks to this, we will feel on our own skin how diverse the world around us is.

My future home is a creative event for preschool children, which will take place in kindergartens in Poznań, in a space well known to young participants. It takes into account people with different sensory sensitivities and neurodiversity. Experienced in working with children, the visual artist guides them through the process, while remaining watchful to their individual needs. Everyone can have fun as they want, according to their readiness and temperament. The workshop uses and strengthens the natural curiosity of children, responds to the children’s need to build bases and houses.
